SANAH KADOURA

BIOGRAPHY

PASSIONATE.

Born and raised in Calgay, Alberta, Canada. Sanah has received a Diploma, Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Jazz performance. After her extensive study with world renowned educator, John Riley, she immersed herself in the New York jazz scene. Sanah has performed with masters of the music as well as young up and comers. Sanah has shared the stage with the legendary Kirk Lighstey,(Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stit, Chet Baker), Philip Harper (Art Blakey), Ed Cherry (Dizzy Gillespie) Mark Whitfield (Herbie Hancock), Joe Locke, Pat Bianchi, Tivon Pennicott, Sullivan Fortner, among many others.

Ms.Kadoura will be featured on an upcoming album named 'Mission Cymbalom' by European Artist Marius Preda. Sanah shared the drum chair with highly acclaimed drummer Dennis Chambers(Parliament, Santana). Mike Stern, Arturo Sandoval, Tom Kennedy and Teymur Phell are also featured on this work, which was recorded in Cologne, Germany.

The July issue of B.I.G. New York Magazine will have a 12 page feature focused on 5 New York Artist, Sanah was selected to be a part of this project by Vogue Photographer Warwick Saint and Creative Director Mark Fina of Cover Girl. Interviews and a music video featuring Sanah as the only musician, will be released in 2018.

Sanah Kadoura will be releasing her debut album Hawk Eyes in 2018 featuring James Genus, Mark Whitfield, Willerm Delisfort, Tivon Pennicott and Jeremy Pelt. Stay Tuned for a release date!
